GTA IV - Fireworks mod

This mod brings a fireworks feature to GTA IV, you will have 8 different effects and 8 different colors. You also can enable a option in the mod menu to shoot fireworks when you shoot your gun :)

Hotkeys

Insert - Show mods menu
Number 0 (not numpad0) - Equip a firework
E - Light up the firework
G - Put on ground
Left mouse button - Throw the firework
Hold middle mouse button to start creating one firework on ground each 400ms

You can change the hotkey in the self-generated .ini file

No XBox 360 controller support yet


ENB or iCEnhancer users may need to edit a settings file to be able to see the firework effects (Corona effect), check the image that goes with the file to find out what to edit and where ;)

Hotkeys

O - Toggle the mod On/Off
Space - Jump
Left mouse button (LMB) + move keys - Perform different tricks, you can combine for example Left + Forward + LMB

You can change the hotkey in the self-generated .ini file

XBox 360 control support:

Left Stick - Control movement
Right Stick - Control camera angle
A - Jump
B + Left stick - Perform tricks, same idea of keyboard move keys described above

GTA IV - Shark-O-Matic gun mod

This mod brings a gun inspired by Saints Row 3 Shark-O-Matic gun that will make a crazy shark break the ground and "eat" the victim :)

Warning!

Don't install the mod in the same GTA more than one time or you will generate wrong entries in beauty.ide (duplicated lines) that will make the game unable to create the models :)


Hotkeys

Insert - Show mods menu

You can change the hotkey in the self-generated .ini file


Press insert, select the Shark-O-Matic option, then select option to equip the gun, you can set a hotkey to equip the gun in the mod .ini file :)


Known issues

Object animations don't appear in video editor :)

Sometimes the shark animation isn't synced with the victim animation.

The gun model was made based on pictures, so, it don't look so good as the original.

[TUT] GTA IV WDR object with custom name and collision





In this tutorial i show how to create a WDR object and how to create the collisions. In resume:

Choose a name for the model
Choose a game .img file where you want insert the model
Edit the .ide file of this .img file adding a new line for the new object
Create the WDR object and import in game
Create the collision mesh and use Shadows IV plugin to export
Add the file to game and then export using openFormats
Import the file using OFIO plugin
Fix pivot to fit the center of the WDR object
Set the materials
Fix the name of the mesh to fit the name of the object
Change the bound type in the User defined propertie of the mesh
Export and import in game

Jetpack mod

Old request, a Jetpack mod for GTA IV, this one was inspired by Kick Ass movie, so, it have two powerful miniguns.




+Features:

-Fire guns while using jetpack (except melee and thrown weapons)
-Spawn enemy in jetpack
-Spawn crazy killer in jetpack
-Spawn bodyguard in jetpack
-Some SWAT cops will come in jetpacks when wanted level is greater than 3

The jetpack must be "unlocked" performing the Kill Frenzy in airport. Case you tried and failed several times and now have that "frustrating feeling", check this post to see how to bypass this :)

Case you have very low fps (under 20) and the jetpack moves too much slow you can increase the move force multiplier (forceMultiplier) in the mod .ini file at gta Scripts folder.

In SA:IV and Vice City Rage after install the package you will obtain a error message, you need to insert the models manually using OpenIV, check this video to see how to proceed:



Hotkeys

Insert - Show mods menu
Numpad0 - Toggle Jetpack engine On/Off
J - Equip/Eject jetpack
Use normal game controls (WASD) to move forward/backward/left/right, use Shift and Control to go up/down

The jetpack will be available after finish the Jetpack Kill Frenzy mission at airport :)

You can change the hotkey in the self-generated .ini file

Custom safehouse and garage script

This mod make possible set fake savehouse spots anywhere in the map, when game loads the script checks if user has saved in that spot and then teleports player to that position. It also let you set positions to save any kind of vehicle. The mod use teleport instead of normal game savehouse method because the normal game method (in a .net script loaded after game load) result in random game crash and random wrong spawn position issues.

#WatchDogsIV - GTA IV

This mod idea has been "initialized" by Yeardley Diamond weeks ago, in the beginning it had only the camera hack feature, but inspired by ac.amir new (w.i.p.) Aiden Pearce model with animated coat i created more features inspired by the Watch Dogs game. Ac.amir also helped with the custom animations.

Update v1.1:

-Fixed missing/wrong weapon icons
-Fixed sniper scope issue
-Fixed weapon name crop issue
-Fixed some HUD items with wrong scale in some resolutions
-Fixed some anims pinky finger issue (some)
-Added options to disable idle anims
-Added ac.amir animated coat anims to be used with his model
-Added new hack: Burst peds cellphone battery
-Added new hack: Lock, unlock and remote control cars
-Added new hack: Electrocute (Payphone, ATM and Ticket machine)
-Small improvements in some methods like find items to hack and take down.

-To have the squared map, install the squared map option or use one that you prefer, for example, the squared map by XForceP :)
-To have the map on right + hide the original wanted stars and weapon icon, install the first hud.dat option.
-Check the .ini file/mod menu to see what options you can enabled/disable.
-To improve the BLACKOUT feature, modify the timecyc.dat with the info from the file "to edit timecyc.txt"
-You can reduce the BLACKOUT extra darkness in the self-generated .ini file of the mod.





Issues

-The mod is inspired by Watch Dogs game, it's not a copy (mainly HUD).
-The video editor controls may disappear if mod is running, you can disable the mod in the mod menu (Insert).
-The put/remove Scarf option is set to "always hidden" by default, you can enable the automatic mode in the mod menu, i was having random game crash with custom player "Aiden Pearce" models when toggling the scarf (sus2/suse2) of those models, this is why i left disabled. In a future update we will use a separated model that don't will have this issue.
-The animations need some "touch" to look better/more natural.
-The features are inspired by the WD game, are not the same.
-Walk over train may fail if you keep moving when train is moving at high speed.
-Weapon ammo may be affected by the mod (increased).
-Black textures: ENB issue, press ' or ~ to show scripthook console window then press again to close it, the texture may appear normal now.
-White textures: Scripthook draw issue, reload a save game.
-Invisible player character/ambient: Issue related to custom camera, happens when player goes through a door but camera goes through the wall, pass through the door again with the camera and it may be solved :)
-Wrong screen overlay in BLACKOUT (full color): ENB issue, set to 0 the blackOutDarknessDesired option in the .ini file.

Hold F close to a ped - Perform a "take down" attack (X: Button Y)
Hold T - Show "weapon wheel", tap to fast switch between armed/unarmed (X: Right Bumper)
Mouse scroll in weapon wheel - Change gun/item in selected slot (X: DPad left/right)
